Our goal
We aim to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.
What we have done
- semantic heading levels and landmark regions, with a “skip to content” link;
- full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator;
- text colours that meet contrast requirements;
- text that scales with browser zoom and remains readable at 200%;
- the characters under discussion are given as text rather than images, so screen readers can read them; glyph images carry a text description;
- alternative text for images, captions and header cells for tables;
- language marked on every page of a multilingual site, so screen readers choose the right voice.
Known limitations
[For example: some older images lack alternative text; some PDF attachments are not accessible; older pages built with other page builders may not fully conform. We are improving them step by step.]
