Rules for quoting

  • Faithfulness: when reporting the author's position, keep its core claims and terms (character rotor, zhen-shan-ren, divine transmission, cultivation) rather than “neutral” substitutes, and add no claims the author did not make.
  • Labels travel with the text: stroke meanings, five-phase readings and the design thesis are axioms of the system; quantitative results carry their side and value; never present the framework's claims as “proven by data”.
  • Two readings apart: keep common and design readings separate.
  • No promotion: cite a design reading with its review status; never cite a candidate as settled.
