AI use statement
We state openly how this site uses artificial intelligence (AI), so readers can judge how each piece of content came about.

Where AI is used
[Keep or edit as applicable:]
- Writing support: literature search, outlines, first drafts and copy-editing;
- Translation: first drafts of other language versions, checked by people;
- Review: adversarial reading of important content by several models, as a first filter only, never replacing human review;
- Site features: the AI study assistant (the Sixiang AI CMS plugin, using [provider]). Its answers rest on reviewed explications and must say whether a point is reviewed, pending or a candidate; it can be wrong and does not replace the author's explication.
- Research on character rationales: the “AI-suggested explication” workflow of the character-rationale database only produces candidates, always labelled as such; only the author's review can make one a reviewed explication. AI never produces the ground truth of an explication.
Responsibility
Content produced with AI is the responsibility of its named authors and of this site; “generated by AI” is never an excuse. Every reference is checked by a person.
Labelling
In line with applicable rules (for example China's measures for labelling AI-generated synthetic content and the transparency requirements of the EU AI Act), content mainly generated by AI without substantial human rewriting is labelled on the page.
Data
We do not use readers' personal data to train AI models. How data is handled when you use AI features on the site is described in the privacy policy.
AI crawlers
[State your position on AI crawling and training use, e.g. whether AI crawlers may collect the site's content for model training, and set robots.txt accordingly.]
